Maroc Rallye Equestre
2026 Edition
More than just a horse race. It’s a human and equestrian adventure that takes you on a journey through the hidden treasures of Morocco — in a spirit of sharing, authenticity, and respect for nature.
For this 5th edition, we’ve chosen Chefchaouen, the mythical Blue Pearl nestled in the Rif Mountains, and its majestic Talassemtane National Park.
Over four days, riders will cover nearly 100 kilometers of breathtaking trails, crossing the preserved region of Dardara and the Talassemtane Park, where Berber traditions and spectacular landscapes meet.
This is not a competition in the strict sense — performance is not the goal.
The Maroc Rallye Équestre is a regularity and orientation horseback course, ridden in teams of 2 to 3 riders. Team spirit, solidarity, and the joy of riding together are at the heart of this unique experience.
Our mission is to promote equestrian tourism across Morocco, showcase the Barbe and Arab-Barbe horse to the world, and create exceptional moments where sport, culture, and nature come together as one.
The Chefchaouen Maroc Rallye Equestre at a glance:
- 40 riders from diverse backgrounds
- 4 days of intense equestrian adventure
- 100 kilometers to cover in the National Park
- 20 kilometers per day to enjoy each landscape
- Teams of 2 to 3 riders to tackle orienteering challenges

Chefchaouen - The Blue Pearl
Your 2026 Destination: A Rif Jewel
For its 5th edition, the Maroc Rallye Equestre sets up camp in Chefchaouen, Morocco’s legendary Blue Pearl, nestled in the heart of the Rif Mountains.
Why Chefchaouen?
Chefchaouen is not just a city: it’s an emotion. With its alleyways painted in shades of blue, its colorful doors, its shaded squares and its peaceful atmosphere, it embodies the magic of Morocco.
But Chefchaouen is also:
- The gateway to Talassemtane National Park, a preserved natural sanctuary
- A still little-known equestrian adventure land, with ancestral trails as far as the eye can see
- The heart of Riffian Berber culture, with traditional villages and legendary hospitality
- Exceptionally diverse landscapes: mountains, forests, waterfalls, secret valleys
By choosing Chefchaouen, the Maroc Rallye Equestre actively participates in the development of sustainable equestrian tourism in Northern Morocco, paving the way for a new international equestrian trekking destination.
The Barb and Arab-Barb Horse, Morocco’s Ambassador Beyond Borders
A symbol of endurance, courage and nobility, the Barb or Arab-Barb horse finds in the terrain of Talassemtane National Park a ground worthy of its abilities. By hosting its 5th edition in Chefchaouen, the Maroc Rallye Equestre affirms its commitment to promoting this emblematic breed and paves the way for Moroccan equestrian tourism oriented towards the international stage. Here, every stride of the Barb tells an ancient story — that of a Morocco proud of its roots, ready to share its living heritage with the world.
